O Christmas Tree

Anna, Mommy, and Daddy put up our very first Christmas tree in Chicago (yes, I know we've lived here for 5 years)! We all think it is the most beautiful tree we've ever seen--especially with Anna's special Hello Kitty ornament that she hung up first thing! We had a great evening decorating--complete with popcorn and Christmas music. What a great beginning to the Christmas season!

Fall Baking

Always, Mommy's little helper, Anna is getting more adventurous and skilled in the kitchen. Mommy and Anna made some awesome apple cake and Anna broke the eggs and managed to mix it up pretty well. Oh, and she likes to eat flour. :)

Preschool Halloween

Anna's preschool had a parade and party the day before Halloween. Mommy and Daddy both got to go and join in the fun. Thankfully, we missed the rain (which started just as we got inside and continued all day). Anna had a great time and loved trick or treating from class to class.

At the Brookfield Zoo

Anna, Mommy, and Daddy took a fun day off and headed to Oak Park to go to the Brookfield Zoo. Anna befriended some of the goats (Sapphire and Yoda) and even hitched a ride with a kangaroo. We had a awesome day!

Meow--Happy Halloween!

Anna decided months ago what she wanted to be for Halloween--"a black Halloween kitty with pink ears." A few trips to the craft store and she and Mommy made the cutest little Halloween kitty...
