Lessons for Grandma and Grandpa
Grandma and Grandpa came to Chicago, so Anna took them to her favorite place--the Nature Museum. She taught them all about butterflies and frogs and, despite the hail storm (!) everyone had a great time!

Green Thumb
With temperatures finally warming up, Anna decided it was time to pick her flowers and get her herbs started! This little gardner has quite a green thumb!

Color Me Happy
Rain outside means finger painting in the living room for Anna. Mommy is unlikely to win a clean house award anytime soon, but it was a LOT of fun!

Quick Call
Mommy thought that most of her phone conversations occur during Anna's nap or sleep time, but a favorite phrase of Mommy's came out of Anna's mouth when she said, "Hold on, Mommy. Anna making a quick call." Poor Daddy, with these two talkative ladies how is he supposed to get a word in edgewise?

Official Chicago Tour guide
While Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a conference/vacation in China, Anna showed Nana and PapPap her hometown--Chicago. She took them to all of the hotspots--from the Nature Museum to the St. Patty's Day parade. And by the end of the week, she had had just as many adventures as Mommy and Daddy--without a 14.5 hour flight! Thanks Nana and Pap!

A morning in the life...
While we try to get out to all the fun places in Chicago whenever we can, Mommy and Anna don't spend everyday out and about! Some mornings we lounge around in our "jim jams," cuddle in Anna's big girl bed (dubbed the "big girl number cloud bed"), play with clay and draw. On this particular morning Anna was busy drawing a rhinoceros. Staying home is just as fun as out and about!
