Winter Wonderfest!

Anna, Mommy and Daddy went to Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier (courtesy of Northwestern's Graduate School family events!). Although Anna was a little small for some of the rides, she still had a lot of fun riding the train (in the caboose!), making friends with snowmen and polar bears and taking a spin on the Merry-go-round!

Tis the season...for pie!

Anna's holiday season started early with a special delivery from Santa (by way of Grandma and Grandpa!)--a kitchen of her very own! The new little chef only had a minute to pose for pictures because she was too busy making breakfast for Mommy. Come to Anna's Diner, where cupcakes and Elmo pie are always on the menu! :) Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!

She Blinded Me With Science

We went for the train exhibit, but stayed at the Carnegie Science Center so Anna could enjoy the wonderful world of science. With a little help from Daddy and PapPap, Anna learned about earthquakes and sound waves. Unfortunately, Mommy's camera battery died before we could capture the all the fun, but we definitely had a great afternoon!

Puppy Bones?

Like a good archeologist, Anna got her tools and donned her goggles to begin her first official dig (where else, but at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in the 'Burgh?). The other kids thought they wee looking for dinosaur bones, but Anna knew better because her PapPap gave her the inside scoop. As she loudly informed all of the other young scientists, they were digging for "Puppy bones!" (Thanks, Pap!)
