Cute as a bug (Happy Halloween!)

Anna's first Halloween was a lot of fun. Dressed as a ladybug she visited her "boyfriend," Auntie Nina and our neighbors. We took a lot of pictures with our cute little bug and then she fell asleep 15 minutes before we were supposed to Trick or Treat. A wonderful 1st Halloween (with more pics to follow)!

Halloween pre-gaming

Dressed as a pumpkin (in her pre-Halloween costume!) Miss Anna gets ready to help Mommy and Daddy carve pumpkins. Unfortunately she fell asleep before we even started and had to wait until morning to see the finished results. (For all yinz Pittsburghers, doesn't one of Anna's pumpkins look just like a certain 'Burgh restaurant cookie?)

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate...

It's Anna's first Halloween, so we're starting to celebrate early. Today we went pumpkin picking at Didier Farms. First, Anna got all dressed up in her cute pre-Halloween digs. She learned about farm life (seeing fun stuff like piglets, chicks and tractors), picked a few pumpkins to carve, and posed for some silly pictures (to humor Mommy and Daddy). We all had a pretty great time!
